About Me.
I have been a writer all my life. I have written for a living, but I have also written for pleasure. As a kid I wrote poetry, and as a teenager I wrote essays and stories.
As you see, I've published 2 non-fiction books. (Both are available on Amazon!) In addition, I've completed 5 short books during the "National Novel Writing Month," which is a fun web-based gathering of writers every November.
I speak fluent Spanish. My college degree is in Spanish Literature, and I had the opportunity to move to Mexico for 3 years and I gained truly native-level fluency there. I lived with my in-laws, who don't speak English, and whatever I didn't know before I got there, I learned.
My Spanish came into good use in a unique way. My husband and I adopted a group of 3 siblings from Guatemala. Our family traveled there 7 times during the course of the adoption process so that they could get to know us. When they got to our home, the kids spoke no English so my eldest daughter and I spoke to them in Spanish to ease their adjustment.
Browse through examples of my work and you'll see that you won't find anyone better equipped to tackle your need to communicate something in writing. Look forward to working with you.
